In the latest issue of Footwear Today, we have been featured in the best selling footwear brands for July 2013. Everyone here is extremely excited by this news! We have been featured in two categories, the top five selling brands in the formal footwear category as well as the overall top selling category.
Our new collection for this Autumn/Winter is also now online! You can check out the full collection here.
For the upcoming Autumn/Winter season we have a great selection of on trend styles, some of which we have spoken about before such as the Chelsea boot. Now it is time to focus on some others such as the desert boot and the derby.
The desert boot has been getting stronger over the past few seasons now and its obvious for this popularity, the desert boot is one of the most versatile casual footwear pieces available. Our Colorado boot is available in staple sand and navy suedes.
The Derby is a staple in any mans wardrobe. Our Delta derby is a great example with the rounded toe that suits winter perfectly. The Delta is also available in a unique mustang leather that looks great with a pair of jeans or chinos.
Suede is a beautiful material that transforms any shoe. It also makes a shoe a little less formal which can be great for dress down Friday and the weekend. We have been playing with texture for the past couple seasons and suede is a great way to try something different other than traditional leather.
Anatomic & Co has been featured in the latest issue of County Weddings. The feature is on true blue with a focus on fashion and accessories in blue hues. The article points out a colour that is often overlooked in footwear however it really shouldn’t be. Navy shoes are actually very easy to wear, going with jeans or chinos and brightens up any outfit. With blue as a focus there was no way they could not include the Tucano! The Tucano is a beautiful brogue in a navy suede. It is a really stylish shoe with great contrast stitching and laces on the red brick sole. Don’t worry if blue isn’t for you, the Tucano is also available in a great brown suede and leather. You can find the Tucano in Navy here for £109.95.
At Anatomic & Co we design our shoes in England and then craft them in Brazil. Despite the obvious that Anatomic & Co was founded in Brazil there are many reasons to keep the manufacturing in the country. Brazil is a thriving country that produces over 650 million pairs of shoes annually and the industry employs 340,000 people. Brazil’s footwear industry now exports footwear to roughly 140 countries.
Brazil is also known for its proud environmental stance as well their views of human and social rights with great working conditions and wages. This is an issue we have supported with the introduction of the Jardins to the Anatomic collection. The Jardins are created to be as environmentally friendly as possible. You can read more about this here.
Below are a few images from the new collection.
